Very early this morning of Thursday, September 13th, 2018, a delegation of Claudine Talon’s Foundation was led by Mrs. Pounami Doko-Toko. The children of the SOS Families Programme and those of the Families of Origin Programme responded. Mr. Aimé Wilfried Tchibozo, coordinator of the SOS Families Programme, thanked the foundation and its president: "It is a pride for SOS Children's Villages Benin to welcome a delegation from the foundation today. You visit us on the eve of the new school year. We are happy. The children worked very well last school year and all our candidates for the various exams passed: Primary school certificate, Ordinary level exam and A-level exam. We promise you that we will do more during the school year that will start next Monday. Say a big thanks to mom on my behalf and on behalf of the children. We would like to tell you that here at SOS Children's Villages Benin, we make the fight for the protection of the child rights a priority."

The coordinator of the families of origin programme, Mr. Pierre Atimba presented his programme to the delegation: "The families of origin programme prevents the loss of parental care. It works with the families in the community in their everyday life. As of today, we are impacting 648 children living in 185 families in the commune of Abomey-Calavi. Allow me to mention that 480 of them attend school. Your support to our programmes will help us better impact children in need. Once again, I say thank you."

Mrs. Pounami Doko-Toko thanked SOS Children's Villages Benin for its salutary gesture for the benefit of poor children. She wanted the children's results to be better so that they could benefit from other advantages of the foundation."
